Jennifer Lawrence Poses Naked with a Snake For Vanity Fair
Jennifer Lawrence recreated Ricard Avedon’s iconic snake photograph with Nastassja Kinski, for a feature which ran in Vanity Fair’s March 2015 issue although it was originally captured in July for her November cover shoot after the nude photo hacking scandal. According to Vanity Fair fashion and style director, Jessica Diehl, “Jennifer has the perfect combination of strength, sexuality, and humor, and, above all, tomboy to pull this off.”

If you tend to shine – and we don’t mean in the good way—then you are definitely in need of the right foundation for your skin type, preferably one that is not too cakey, too shiny or too light. Down below are some of my favourite liquid foundations, all of which improve the appearance of your skin by minimising oiliness and, most importantly, stay put all day long.

Discover The Best Highlighters & Luminisers For Fall (And Beyond)
As temperatures drop, heaters clank on, and the wind whips up, we’re all on a quest for perfectly glowing skin from within and not the lacklustre, dry skin that often accompanies the arrival of the cold months ahead. Using makeup highlighters—sometimes called an illuminator or luminiser—can give dull, winter skin a radiant glow, while diffusing imperfections, and illuminating your favourite features.

Christmas Shopping: Are You Guilty of Self-Gifting Around The Holidays?
Pair of earrings and some great perfume for mum? Check.
New winter scarf for Dad? Check.
An inflatable T-Rex and a Frozen Travel Art Easel for my gorgeous Nieces? Check.
The cash sure does flow freely this time of year, doesn’t it? As names are crossed off the Christmas list, many can resist the urge to shop for themselves. And they might deserve a medal of honour. During the season of giving – to the person you love most (you!), it’s hard not to enjoy the receiving. (And who knows better what we want as gifts than, well, us?)
Last year, surveys of holiday shoppers revealed a noticeable rise in self-gifting – And with all the great deals – What’s that? Half-priced shoes, you say? Discounted cashmere? Michael Kors Bag on sale?! Don’t mind if I do. . .
What’s in your shopping bags around the holidays? Are they chock-a-block of gifts for family and friends? Or do you, like me, sneak a few gifts for yourself?
Man Buns Are Everything Right Now
These days the world seems to revolve around one thing only. And that one thing is BUNS. Whether it’s in a physical form – and we’re talking about Kim Kardashian’s cheeky (pun intended) photographs for Paper Magazine, with the intention of causing a media frenzy, of course. Or, as of late, it’s in the form of THE MAN BUN.
This hairstyle, THE MAN BUN, is making the rounds in Hollywood causing some sort of commotion within the celebrity community. Jared Leto springs to mind when I think of the Man Bun. David Beckham did it years ago, Harry Styles and Bradley Cooper are also fans, and Jake Gyllenhaal is the latest disciple. Either you hate it or you love it, but long hair for men is a big statement and is definitely trending this fall.
The Man Bun is quite impossible not to leave an impression, one would be inclined to believe that a bun style would work or look good on men; but somehow it does – in a big way. There is something perfect about the mixture of rugged, slightly unkempt style that works so great when juxtaposed to a strong, masculine look. Do you agree?
Disclaimer: For those of you who were hoping this was an article about actual man bums, I’m sorry to disappoint.
Tips on Caring for Men’s Long Hair
If you’re going for the long hair trend make sure the maintenance of longer hair is going to be something that will fit in with your lifestyle. You’ll need extra time in your grooming ritual to maintain your mane.
Buy the right tools – The right tools make all the difference. Invest in a wide-tooth comb and a good quality hair brush with natural bristles. If you’re going for the ponytail or the bun look buy some fabric-covered bands (instead of the classic rubber ones as they damage the hair).
Choose the right shampoo & conditioner for your hair type – it is necessary for healthy looking hair and scalp. No one likes dirty hair.
Treatments for hair – Use Moroccanoil treatment on damp or dry hair (my favourite.)
Avoid towel drying – as this is one of the biggest causes of damage to hair. Before blow drying always use hair protection serum, leave hair slightly damp to prevent over-drying.
Trim your hair regularly – it’s best to have your hair trimmed every six to eight weeks to remove split ends.
Healthy balanced diet – is very important element for healthy hair.
